RAGE Inhibitor in Alzheimer's Disease

Researchers are participating in a nationwide study that will test an experimental treatment to target the source of the disease. The experimental drug may block a critical pathway in Alzheimer's Disease (AD) that causes damage to the nerve cells in the brain.
Participants will receive either the active study drug or placebo (inactive pill). All participants will be monitored carefully by a team of doctors and nurses at the research clinic throughout the study.
You may be eligible to participate if you:
- Are age 50 or older and have mild to moderate AD
- Have not suffered from serious or unstable diseases within the past three months
- Do not have Type 1 or Type 2 diabetes
- Have a reliable caregiver
People of all racial or ethnic backgrounds are encouraged to participate.
